  Lolita Carrico #angerchallenge Ok, so it still infuriates me that my ex-husband just up and disappeared 3 years ago without a word to his (our) sons. Our oldest turned 18 earlier this month, and even though I have no idea if he still checks his email or honestly is even alive, I emailed my ex to let him know that our son - who is now a man - has been through the ringer and had a really rough patch after the unexpected disappearance but now is on the right path and doing amazingly well. I sent him some recent photos of both of the boys. No clue if he got them. But I needed to do that to release my anger. I think it helped me - yes, I am angry that my ex-husband / my sons' dad did this to them AND left me to deal with the turmoil that came with it, but it was therapeutic to tell him - even if he will never see it - that we got through it and are doing ok, even after he threw the biggest wrench ever into our lives.

  Nicole Desla Learning that your loved ones are not well is so overwhelming. I am literally sitting here thinking why? Why is it that when the sun comes up a cloud has to block the rays. I guess it is just the natural ebb and flow of life. Hell, it doesn't mean I have to like it! SMH. Live life and give thanks for every minute you get. It is a blessing.

  Katrina Morris This is so true. I have solved so many tough coding problems in the shower. I've learned that when I start with cyclical thinking while trying to solve a problem, it's time for a break, often until the next day (I do a lot of coding at night).   Mark Farentino Often in my life different things are highlighted and I think these things potentially are developing me. For the last few weeks not that I have never paid any attention to it before but perspective has been at the forefront of everything. Here’s a thought pessimism and optimism resides in the same glass and both begin and end at the same level but it is your perspective that either makes the glass half empty or half full. Gratitude either fills you up or ungratefulness empties you out. Perspective will brighten your day or dampen it. The choice you make helps to either develop your character in a positive manner or creates character flaws. For example if I decide that optimism is my focal point then I can appreciate the little until more is added thus empowering my joy but if my focal point is pessimism then I complain adding unnecessary frustrations and negativity ultimately guiding my character to be seen as a person who is for the lack of better terms a negative Nancy. Therefore, desire optimism it will brighten up your life adding more to your productivity and progress & empowering your mood and good health.

  Harlo Hendrix So had to share this: I run a community closet in Vegas... I had done some soft promoting just in case some one had an immediate need. A young mother of 5 reached out to me because she had just got a new job at a nursing home but couldn’t afford to purchase scrubs before starting day. Seriously one small post in my intimate tribe and I had more than enough scrubs to help her and others. This was in 24 hours. I was moved to tears . My community showed up and they showed out as they say. #extremelygrateful

Tragedy almost struck my family by way of my younger brother trying to commit suicide, so it's been a really trying few months picking the pieces back up. That's something I would only feel comfortable sharing on this social media. We're moving past it now and he's currently getting therapy for depression.   Nathan Fisher NF7 feeling unsure. How do you best handle this? In the past week the country has locked down regions so I can't even go back to my home town to see my family or church community. I've had a teacher and best friend pass away this week and I'm feeling lonelier than ever before. Still trying to make sense of this madness.. I believe God has this under his control but even still i feel alone and scared to be myself sometimes. I've always been a sociable type of person so it's weird only hearing my own voice all the time.   Twisty Rita Purge 2019 has been completely stalled by the Summer of Slack '19. My brain needs a kick start, to move again. Only good thing is that my brain needed this time to sort things out, but the body is suffering for it. Lots of changes coming up this fall have me frozen.
